A FULL kitchen and bedroom refurbishment has been completed in good time for the Kingham Plough's annual farmers' market on Bank Holiday Sunday.
The pub has been run by chef proprietor Emily Watkins and her husband Miles Lampson since 2007 and has since been featured on numerous TV shows including The Hairy Bikers, Tom Kerridge’s Proper Pub Food and as a competitor on BBC Two's Great British Menu which she won in 2014 with her fish course. She was also invited to cook for war veterans at St Paul's Cathedral in a banquet commemorating the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings.
March saw the reopening of a brand new kitchen to make more space and make that space as eco-friendly as possible to accommodate and eight-strong brigade of chefs.
The eco-friendly element is reflected in lower energy usage by including induction hobs, water conserving dishwashers and energy saving refrigeration.
