Families
Food We are delighted to cater for children. Our bar snacks and children’s food such as home-made fish goujons and chips are very popular with the young. With these dishes available throughout the afternoon and early evening, children can eat early should they wish allowing parents the opportunity to enjoy dinner from the a la carte menu when the children are in bed.
Rooms We have a number of rooms which are well set up for families. Rooms 1 and 2 in the main house are immediately adjacent to each other and entered from a shared lobby. Room 1 is a twin whilst room 2 is a large double easily able to accommodate a cot. All good monitors should reach the bar and dining room from these rooms.
Rooms 3 and 4 occupy the entire top floor of the main house. Room 3 can be a twin or a double whilst room 4 is a large double suitable for a family with space to accommodate a cot and a ‘z’ bed.
Rooms 5 and 6 in the annexe are immediately adjacent to each other and entered from a shared lobby. Room 5 is a twin whilst room 6 can be a twin or a double. Unfortunately, these rooms aren’t large enough for any additional beds.
Local attractions There is plenty for families to do in the area. Birdland at Bourton-on-the-Water, The Cotswold Farm Park with its rare breed farm animals and the Cotswolds Wildlife Park with its fascinating collection of animals from all over the world are thoroughly recommended. There’s also the Cotswold Motor Museum in Bourton-on-the-Water and the Toy Museum in Stow-on-the –Wold to name just a few attractions. |
