In its sixth year, The Kingham Plough has established a well deserved reputation as an outstanding dining pub with rooms, and has deservedly been recognised by numerous awards bestowed by various different bodies.

The modern British food is inspirational, not your ordinary Gastro-Pub menu, where everything is prepared from scratch by a team of skilled chefs. Headed by chef-owner Emily Watkins and head chef Ben Dulley, the menu offers an exciting take on English classics. The kitchen is dedicated to making the most of the carefully sourced local ingredients and everything from the charcuterie to the baked beans in our award winning breakfast is proudly made by hand.

The dining room is housed in the old tythe barn, with a wonderful array of antique furnishing, offering everybody their own ‘favourite table’. Whether you are coming for a romantic break, a celebratory meal, or just some really delicious food in an informal, professional environment, you will be well looked after here.

For more relaxed seating the bar area offers a large comfortable sofa and chairs, 2 roaring log fires and additional tables where you can enjoy a delicious selection of homemade bar snacks alongside award winning local ales and an extensive wine list.
